I came across a record of marriage on Familysearch.org. According to the record, Ella A. Hatton, daughter of Amelia Hatton, married William S. Herrell 14 August, 1873 in Fauquier County, Virginia. William Herrell was the son of Matthew and Elizabeth Herrell. Here's the reference:
