Mrs. Elenea P. Hatton died yesterday morning at the home of her son-in-law, Mr. Peter Faithfull, No. 817 North Fifth Street. Her death was quite sudden, though she was advanced in years. She suffered a stroke of paralysis Tuesday night and this was the immediate cause of her death.

Mrs. Hatton was the widow of Mr. George Washington Hatton and had spent nearly all of her long and useful life in Richmond, She is survived by six children, Mrs. Peter Faithfull and Mrs. Anna V. Baker both of Richmond; Mrs. James E. Herrell of Manassas; Charles R. of Knoxville, TN; Walter of Portsmouth and Cashwell Hatton of Staunton.

The funeral will take place from the residence of Mr. Faithful on Saturday afternoon with Rev. David Soliv of Immanuel Baptist Church will conduct the service and the interment will be made in Oakwood.
