Funeral rites for Lafayette Stout, 89, of the Inlow Springs Road who died Wednesday noon at Ball Memorial Hospital, will be conducted at 1 p.m. at the Meeks Mortuary. The Reverend Dewey Hole will officiate, with burial in the Jones Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary. The casket will not be opened at the cemetery.
Mr. Stout was a Red Nickel Railroad maintenance man and was a lifelong resident of Delaware County. He is survived by the widow, Clara; a daughter, Mrs. Garnet Smith of Muncie; two sons, Ned and Guy, both of Delaware County; a brother, Lewis of Chesterfield, and eight grandchildren.
