He resided at the Franklin House in Cleveland. Occupation: Harness maker. He was promoted to corporal, Jan. 13, 1863, and to sergeant, March 1, 1865. He was mustered out with Company C, June 12, 1865, at Raleigh, North Carolina at the end of the war. His name is on Panel #13 in the Cuyahoga County Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, Public Square, Cleveland, Ohio.
