The following item regarding Mrs. Dunham is taken from the St. Augustine Record:
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Lillie O. Dunham, 78, who died in this city Sunday morning. The services were conducted from Trinity Episcopal Church, by the Rev. L. Fitz-James Hindry, rector. Burial was in the family plot in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Dunham was for many years owner and operator of the Dunham House in this city and of the Dunham House in Waynesville, N.C., which are now operated by her son, Donald Dunham.
She is survived by three sons, Donald Dunham and Judge David R. Dunham of this city and Fatio O. Dunham, who was called here by his mother's critical illness; three sisters, Mrs. D. B. Fudge of Glades Springs, Va.; Mrs. T. C. Darby of Crescent City, and Mrs. W. L. Sperring of Jacksonville, and five grandchildren, Donald Dunham, Jr., and Kenneth Dunham, Dorothy Jean and William Davis Ross Dunham of St. Augustine, and Fatio O. Dunham, Jr., of Miami.
Pallbearers were, Active: E. Noble Calhoun, Dr. J. R. Mosley, Mardgrove Norris, Sr., Charles F. Hopkins, Jr., E. W. Howatt, C. A. Lamont; honorary: X. Lopez, J. T. Pacetti, C. S. Smith, Dr. E. S. Estes, Charles E. Young, Sr., R. C. Stephens, S. C. Middleton, and H. E. Mahr. Relatives and friends came from Jacksonville and Palatka to attend the services.
