Roy Dorris Hamilton, 95, of Moberly, passed away Monday, October 4, 2010, at Moberly Nursing & Rehab., Moberly, Missouri.
Mr. Hamilton was born January 17, 1915 in Higbee to Roy Reece and Pearl Evelyn (Duncan) Hamilton.
Roy had worked as a self employed carpenter before retiring. He was a member of North Park Baptist Church.
On June 11, 2004, he married Norma Ruth Griggs and she survives of the home.
Mr. Hamilton is also survived by son, Benny Hamilton; daughter, Betty Jean Hamilton of Moberly; step-sons, Stephen Daniel Hamilton and Timothy Mark Hamilton; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Doris Mae (Whitney) Hamilton; two sons; three brothers and three sisters.
Services and visitation were at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery.
