Elizabeth Vanderpool Adams, 87, of Zachariah d. Oct. 19 at Willow Knoll Nursing Home, Middletown, Ohio following an extended illness. Mrs. Adams was a charter member of Torrent Church of God and the widow of the late Porter Adams. Survivors are two sons, Donald Adams of Franklin, Ohio, and Porter Adams, Jr. of Lebanon, Ohio; two daughters, Joyce Blackard of Greenwood, Indiana and Mrs. Wanda Brewer of Middletown, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. Burial in the Adams Cemetery at Zachariah with Shackelford Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. (Wolfe County News - October 25, 1985)
