Joyce A. Blackard, 83, passed away April 23, 2007 at St. Francis Hospital. She was a resident of Greenwood. She was born April 18, 1924 in Torrent, Kentucky to the late Porter S. and Elizabeth (Vanderpool) Adams. She married John Blackard on October 6, 1948 and he preceded her in death 2000.
Survivors include a son, Mark J. (Peggy) Blackard of Greenwood; two daughters, Sandy (Dr. Fred) Levin of Little Rock, Arkansas and Portia (Pat) Ortale of Brentwood, Tennessee; six grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Services were entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home of Greenwood, Indiana.
