Lucinda Bingham Stephensen for Many Years Idaho Resident

Mrs. Lucinda Bingham Stephensen, wife of Peter C. Stephensen, died at 4:10 o'clock this morning at a local hospital following an illness of several months. She was born in Huntsville on March 14, 1870, a daughter of Willard and Genet H. Bingham. Mrs. Stephensen had lived in Ogden for six years, the family home being at 3253 Orchard avenue. Prior to coming to Ogden she had made her home in Idaho for 21 years. She was married at Logan in 1887.
Mrs. Stephensen was an active worker in the L.D.S. church, a member of the Ninth ward Relief society. She is survived by her sons and daughters: Mrs. G. V. Larson of Salt Lake, Willard T. Stephensen of Thistle, Chester H. Wells L and Eldon D. Stephensen of Ogden. Sixteen grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Mrs. Leroy J. Taylor, Harrisville; Parley T. Bingham, Smithfield; Elijah Bingham, Blackfoot, Idaho; Elisha Bingham, Wilson; Mrs. David W. Rawson, Mrs. Louis K. Bitton, Mrs. George Bitton, Ogden; Mrs. William Hancock, Pocatello; Mrs. Phillip Dance, Blackfoot, Idaho; Mrs. D. G. Cazier and Mrs. M. T. Lee of Afton, Wyo.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ninth ward chapel with Bishop W. O. Jackson presiding. The body may be viewed on Thursday afternoon and evening and also on Friday until 1:30 o'clock at the Lindquist chapel. Interment will be made in the Ogden City cemetery.
