Mary Bohacz was born in Poland about 1870. Her family moved to the United States around the 1880's. She married Joseph Sniegoski about 1888, and they had these children: Charlie, Tony S., Rosie, Annie, Allie, and Gussie. Joseph and Mary lived in Grimes County, TX, until about the turn of the century, when Joseph bought a farm next to his sister, Kate Ann (Snow) Bellnoski, in Montgomery County, TX. The farm was located on what is now known as Calvary Road. Joseph died about three years after they moved there, but Mary and her children continued to live there until the children were grown. The girls married and moved to Houston, and the boys stayed on the family land. Mary moved to New Waverly, Walker County, TX. She lived in a house across the street from the St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Mary died on July 4, 1928, and was buried at the Shepard Hill Cemetery near Willis, TX.
