Mr. Kirby L. Allison, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Allison, died in an Atlanta hospital Thursday after a short illness. Mr. Allison was at one time night clerk at the Selwyn hotel and left here to accept a position as cashier in Durant's restaurant in Atlanta. After he became ill a few weeks ago he was removed to a hospital where he died Thursday. His remains were brought here for burial, the funeral to be conducted from the residence of his parents, No. 500 North Brevard street this afternoon at 4 o'clock by Rev. Dr. W. W. Orr. The interment will be at Elmwood. Mr. Allison was a young man of fine business qualifications. He was always faithful in the discharge of his duty. In Charlotte he had many friends who will learn with deepest sorrow of his death.
