Louis Doctor, 86, died at 7:30 o'clock Friday morning at his home on the Flatrock road in Marion township, following a stroke of apoplexy he suffered Wednesday morning. He was a lifelong resident of Marion township. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran church at Soest. Survivors include four sons, Oscar at home, Louis and Milton of Glendale, Calif, and Rev FC Doctor of Wakefield Neb; a daughter Mrs Martin Griebel of Marion township; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, George and Martin of this city, and a sister, Mrs Louise Schmidt of Fort Wayne. The body was removed to Rodenbeck-Trier's funeral home, and will be returned to the residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home and at 2:30 o'clock at Immanuel Lutheran church at Soest, Rev C Rodenbeck officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
