PEARL McCAFFREE.
Funeral services for Miss Pearl McCaffree; 81, formerly of 1520 1/2 Washington St., were to be conducted, Tuesday afternoon at the First Baptist church.
Miss McCaffree died Saturday night at the Western Home, where she had been a resident since 1960.
The Rev. Wayne Gordon, pastor, officiated. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.
Miss McCaffree was born July 12, 1881, in Bremer county, the daughter of John and Elizabeth McCaffree. She had lived in this area all her life.
A graduate of the Iowa State Normal School (now State College of Iowa), she taught school for several years and also was a bookkeeper for the Olson Coal Co.
The Dahl funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
