Virginia M. Peterson, 81, of Pontiac, died at 9:35 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010, at her residence.
She was born March 6, 1929, at East Chicago, Ind., the daughter of Fred A. and Elsie (Moore) Williams.
She married Robert Altman July 3, 1948. He preceded her in death Nov. 4, 1968.
She later married Robert Beck Sept. 18, 1970. He preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1988.
She then married Donald Peterson Sept. 29, 1990. He preceded her in death Nov. 5, 2006.
Surviving are two daughters, Rebecca Sprandel, Pontiac, and Vicki (Richard) Richey, Tiffin, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Connie (Joe) Garcia and Bonnie (Jim) Snyder, both of Tiffin; six grandchildren, Trisha (Mike) Haag, Kelly (Dan) Wise, Julie (Jeff) Fishman, Tony (Jane) Sprandel, Shonna (Joe) Terrill and James (Lisa) Sprandel; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert Williams, Tulsa, Okla.; and one sister, Patricia (Jimmy) Giddens, Carrolton, Texas.
Mrs. Peterson was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Altman.
She was a homemaker. Virginia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She served on a one-year mission trip for the church at the Chicago Latter Day Saints Temple.
