Lloyd E. Vincent, 69, of 607 S. Davis died Nov. 25, 1999, at his home.
He was born Jan. 21, 1930, in Unionville, Mo, to Columbus & Bessie Marie (Woods)Vincent.
He first married Irma Eileen Bitner December 25, 1948 at Cincinnati Christan Church, Cincinnati, Iowa. They later divorced. To this union four children were born; Janet Lynn(John Chaplin)Vincent of Galveston, Texas, Beverly Ann(Michael)Leffler of Blakesburg, Steven Lloyd(Cindy)Vincent of Oskaloosa, and Tracy(George)Losee of Des Moines.
Lloyd later married Marsha Diane Ellis on Dec. 21, 1973 in Ottumwa. To this union two children were born; Stacey Vincent(James)of Ottumwa, Randy(Tracey)Vincent of Ottumwa.
Lloyd is also survived by 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack Vincent of Fullerton, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson; and a brother, Neil Vincent.
A resident of Ottumwa most off his life, he worked at John Morrell & Company for 25 years; he retired from John A. Hormel and Company in 1983. He was affiliated with St. Patrick's Catholic Church and was a member of the Analgamated Butchers and Meatcutters Local P-1.
The service wil be 1pm Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home, the Rev. John Spiegel of St. Patrick's Catholic Church officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike, Chad and Bobby Leffler, George Losee, Bradley Vincent and Jerald Harter. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven and Randy Vincent.
Visitation will be open after 9am Monday with family present from 6:30 to 8 pm. Memorials may be made to the family.
