WILLIAM F. SIMMET, 54, DIES AT NEKOOSA
William F. Simmet, 54, died suddenly at his home in Nekoosa at 3 p.m. Sunday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 21, at 8 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic church with the Rev. Edmund Cramer officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery.
He was born in Chicago on April 16, 1886, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Simmet, and lived in central Wisconsin for the past 40 years. His wife, Mary Fresch and three children preceded him in death. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Augusta Simmet, six children, Jack, Joe, Barbara, Catherine, and William jr. and Stanley, all at home, and three brothers, Louis, and John of Kellner and Otto of California. One brother, Ed preceded him in death.
Prayers will be said at 7 o'clock tonight at the Voss funeral home where friends may call until time for services.
