Rev. Don L. Patton, 78, a minister, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001, at a Fort Worth hospital.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday at Second Apostolic Assembly. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Second Apostolic Assembly, formerly Gospel Assembly.
Don Patton was born Sept. 19, 1923 in Whitt. He was in the ministry more than 55 years and pastored Gospel Assembly more than 40 years.
Survivors: Wife of 49 years, Wanda Patton of Fort Worth; son, Tim Patton and wife, Faith of Minnepolis, Mn.; daughters, Donise Sneed and husband, Archie, of Fort Worth, Stephanie Roark and husband, James of Weatherford; grandson, Ryan Roark; granddaughers, Priscilla Stauffer and husband, John, Jessica Patton, Lydia Sneed, Deborah Sneed, Chelsea Roark, Chastity Roark, MacKenzie Roark; great-grandson, Isaac Stauffer; sister, Lulu Masterson, Charlene Thetford, Bernice Farmer; and brother, C.
