Theodore P. Mills, Sr., 80, of 132 Myrtle St., Indian Orchard, died Saturday in Springfield Hospital Medical Center. Born in Chicopee, July 1, 1891, he was an Indian Orchard resident for 60 years. He was an Army veteran of World War I, a member of the Indian Orchard Lodge of Masons, and a member of the 1st Congregational Church. He was a machinist at the former Springfield Armory for 20 years before retiring 15 years ago. He leaves his wife Bertha (Gonyea) Mills; five sons, Theodore P. Jr., and Earl R., both of Springfield; Vernon I. of Ludlow; Ralph F. and Kenneth E., both of Indian Orchard. The funeral will be Tuesday at the Ratell funeral home with the Rev. George B. Murchie officiating. Burial will be in Island Pond Cemetery.
