Funeral services will be held Sunday
morning at Pursley Funeral Home at 10:00
o'clock for Simon Gabriel Ailing, ago 83, who
passed away Tuesday, August 9, 1949 at his
home in Pontiac and Graveside Service will be
held at 2:00 p. m. at North Grove cemetery,
Simon Ailing was born, April 2, 1866 at
Mayville, the son of the late William James
and Margaret Walker Ailing.
Surviving him are four sons: William of Flint;
Charles of Oxbow Lake; Ernest of West
Virginia; Russell of Sault Ste Marie; one
daughter, Mrs. Dora Vinson of Midland; 16
grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; one
sister Mrs. Ida Wlxon of Caro; two brothers,
Edward Ailing of Caro, Orlando of Drayton
Plains as well as many other relatives and
friends,
