Frankston - Mrs. W. O. Bacon, 60, of Frankston, died at 7 p.m. Wednesday at her home following an illness of several months.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at the First Baptist Church in Frankston with the Rev. J. H. Cole, Jr. of San Marcos and the Rev. E. E. Weeks of Frankston officiating. Burial was in Frankston Cemetery with arrangements by Hassell and Foster Funeral Home of Palestine.
Mrs. Bacon was born Aug. 15, 1896 in the Frankston area. She was a daughter of the late Marsh Slaughter and Mrs. Jo Taylor Slaughter.
Survivors include her husband, W. O. Bacon; a son, A. H. Bacon; two grandchildren, Terry Bacon and May Jean Bacon; a sister, Mrs. Lula Dabbs; two brothers, Charlie Slaughter and Clint Slaughter, all of Frankston.
