SPRING MILL — Lester I. Autry, 95, of Spring Mill died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010, at his home.
Born April 11, 1915, in Monette, he was the son of James Bynum Autry and Cora Lee Stevens Autry. He was a retired minister of the Pentecostal faith, a custodian for Batesville School District and a retired carpenter.
Survivors include a son, James Dean Autry of Spring Mill; two daughters, Cleta Hubbard of Desha and June Nail of Cushman; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 69 years, Addie Lee Britt Autry; a son, L.D. Autry; a daughter, Mary Hoover; five brothers, Levi Autry, Travis Autry, "Robert Early" Autry, Monroe Autry and Lloyd Autry; five sisters; and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Willis Funeral Service Chapel in Batesville with Kenny Tharp officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Cushman.
Pallbearers will be Farrell Hubbard, Wesley Hubbard, Jimmy Nail, Jerry Nail, Ricky Nail and Dan Croft.
Honorary pallbearers are Henry Lankford, Jeremy Autry, Jessie Hubbard and Daniel Autry.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight.
