Lester "L.D." Autry, age 54, of Batesville, Arkansas died Wednesday, October 1, 2008. Born on March 15, 1954 in Batesville, he was the son of Lester Autry and Addie Britt Autry.
He was a carpenter and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include his parents, Lester and Addie Autry of Spring Mill; two sons, Chad Autry of Odessa, TX and Dillon Autry of Beebe, AR; one brother, James Autry of Spring Mill and two sisters, June Nail of Cushman and Cleta Hubbard of Desha.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Hoover.
Funeral Services will be Monday, October 6, 10:00 a.m., at the Willis Funeral Service Chapel with Kenny Tharp officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Cushman under the direction of Willis Funeral Service of Batesville.
Pallbearers are Farrell Hubbard, Wesley Hubbard, Keith Mason, Wayne Holder, Jimmy Nail and Ricky Nail.
Honorary pallbearers are Jessie Hubbard, Jerry Nail and E.C. Norris.
Visitation is Sunday afternoon from 3-5 p.m.
