Bessie E Garner Burleson, 87, of Port Lavaca died Friday 5 May 1995.
She was born 29 march 1908 to the late John A & Ida Mae Stienberg
Garner in Port Lavaca. She was very active in Calhoun County senior
citizen's work. She was a retired nurse and a member of First Baptist
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus H Burleson.
She is survived by: daughters, Joan Burleson Burleigh of Aransas Pass
TX, Mary Lou Burleson Sauer of Hartwell GA and Margie Burleson Foster
of Houston; a son, John H "Jack" Burleson of Port Lavaca; 15
grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
