Born in Hilliards Aug.25,1887, he was the son of the late Dorse and Harriette Royle Cook.
He was retired from Amos Coal Co.
Mr. Cook was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ryder Cook in 1959.
Surviving are, three daughters; Mrs. Jack (Mildred) Fleming of New Castle, Mrs. Charles (Florence) Gladd of North Washington, and Mrs. Eugene (Shirley) Bonetti of Butler; five sons, Earl L. Cook of Butler, William H. Jr. of Safety Harbor, FL., Albert H. with the U.S. Air Force in Texas, Keith of Eau Claire and Ronald Cook of Hilliards; 24 grandchildern and 6 great grandchildren.
Three sons, Glenn, Paul and Donald preceded him in death.
Friends of William H. Cook of Hilliards, who died Wednesday Oct.9,1968, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, West Sunbury, from 7to9 p.m. Thursday and from 2to4 and 7to9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday from the funeral home, with the pastor of Hilliards United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the New Salem Cemetery. Arrangements by Young.
