Walter C. Donten, 723 Glenwood Ave., died Sunday night at the Good Samaritan Hospital, where he had been a patient since Wednesday. He was 49. Born in Lebanon, he was a son of the late Waiter and Carrie Hoffman Donten. He was employed for 28 years in the core room of the Lebanon Steel Foundry. He was a member of the Glen Lebanon Fire Company and worshipped in the Evangelical United Brethren faith. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. June Emerich Donten; the following children: Richard E.; Janice, wife of LeRoy Souders and Connie, wife of Richard Wenrich, all of Lebanon; Miss Doris Donten and Miss Deborah Donten, both at home; four grandchildren; a brother, Sylvester C., Lebanon, and three sisters: Mrs. Pauline Croce, Harrisburg; Mrs. Caroline Marko and Mrs. Hannah Simpson, both of Lebanon.
