Mrs. J. E. Richardson of Dyers Store, age 72, died suddenly on Sunday night while visitig her daughter, Mrs. C. L. McCray, Roanoke, Va.
The remains were brought here yesterday from Roanoke to the home of her son, H. A. Richardson, Moss Street.
The deceased is survived by her husband, J. E. Richardson of Dyers Store, and by the following children: W. H. Richardson of Dyers Store; O. H. Richardson of Leaksville, N.C.; H. A. Richardson of Martinsville; Mrs. W. M. Barrow of Mayo Dan, N.C.; Mrs. C. L. McCray of Roanoke; Mrs. S. E. Bernstein of Richmond and Mrs. C. L. Lewis of Richmond.
Mrs. Richardson is also survived by the following brothers and sisters: H. D. Winn, Martinsville; James Winn, Axton; T. R. Winn, Roanoke; William Winn, Burlington, N. C.; and Mrs. Frank Gravely, Martinsville; Mrs. B. F. Eggleston, Bassett.
The deceased has been a faithful member of Leatherwood Baptist Church for over forty years, an earnest Christian woman, beloved by her relatives and friends and highly esteemed by all who knew her.
Funeral from the home of Mr. H. A. Richardson, Moss Street and interment in Oakwood Cemetery.
