Entered Eternal Life on September 30, 2010, at the age of 87. Resident of EastCastle Place, former longtime resident of Whitefish Bay. Beloved husband for 61 years of Ellen (nee Williams) Powell.
Loving father of Susan (Stephen) Wright, Daniel (Frances) Powell, and Sarah Powell. Proud grandfather of Powell Thedieck Wright, Campbell McKee Wright, Virginia Sexton Powell, Edmund William Powell II and Daniel Edmund Powell Jr. Dear brother of Cornelius Powell. Further survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Ned was a longtime President of the Law Firm of Borgelt, Powell, Peterson & Frauen. He was a highly successful defense attorney who specialized in product liability and medical malpractice litigation. Ned had proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family and all whose lives he touched.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 4, at 10:00 AM, at the Milwaukee Catholic Home, St. Anne Chapel, 2462 North Prospect Avenue, Milwaukee.
Family will greet friends at a reception following the Mass. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery will be private for the family....
