Services were held for Harry Jasper, 59 years, of Hospers, at the First Reformed Church of Hospers Friday afternoon, August 22, at 2 p.m. with services from the home at 1:30, with Rev. Albert Hellenga officiating.

Mr. Jasper died at this home Tuesday morning of a heart condition. He was born Nov. 15, 1898 at Orange City. On February 8, 1923 he was united in marriage to Edith Van Meveren at Alton. To this union were born three children: Lorraine June who died in infancy, Glen Marvin of Granville and Joyce Elaine (Mrs. Marion Posthumus) of Sioux City.

In addition to his widow and children he is survived by four grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: James Jasper of Woodstock, Minn., Steve Jasper of Orange City and Mrs. Rena Roetman of Orange City.

A men's quartet consisting of John Bloemendaal, Andy Reitsma, Albert Heemstra and Ray Dickevers sang "Saved by Grace" and "God in Heaven is our Father" at the service.

Pall Bearers were Frank De Jong, Frank Klynsma, William Hofmeyer, John Gosling, John Waanders and Steve Poppema.

Interment was made in the Hospers cemetery.
