Carl J. Wolfe, 69, of 1434 Daggett St., Marinette, died Monday evening at Marinette general Hospital.
Mr. Wolfe was born in Marinette on May 17, 1905, and was a member of the 1924 graduating class of Marinette High School. He was a well-known barber, having been employed at the Family Barber Shop on Hall Ave. for many years. Mr. Wolfe was a member of Peace United Church of Christ of Marinette.
On Oct. 14, 1926, he married the former Margaret Martz. She survives along with two sons, Harold of Brown Deer and Ross of Wallace; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Haines and Mrs. Joseph Heckel, both of Marinette; a brother, William Wolfe of Marinette, and seven grandchildren. A son, Rolland, preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Hansen and Onion funeral home in Marinette from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Final rites will be held there Wednesday at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel T. Winger officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
