"Marinette Man Dies From Injuries"
Fred Wolf, Marinette, is killed in auto accident near Sturgeon Bay, two hurt.
Fred Wolf of Marinette was killed early this morning, near Forestville, 13 miles from here, when the automobile in which he and two companions were riding overturned. Wolf was asleep in the rear seat and received a fractured skull, and died while being taken to a hospital. Fred Crawford of Beloit and Ray Williams of Marinette are said to be the other two men who were in the car.

The body of Fred Wolf, who died as a result of injuries sustained when thrown from an automobile near Forestville early Monday morning, arrived here at 9 o'clock in the evening. Mervin Brown, and William Wolf, a brother of the deceased, accompanied the body here. It was taken to the Martin Morgue and this afternoon it was removed to the family home, 1126 Hosmer Street. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon from the German Evangelical church, Elizabeth Avenue at 2:30, with the Rev. G.E. Paulowait, pastor, officiating at the final rites.
The other three men in the car, by the name of Crawford, Johnson and Williams, escaped with minor bruises. The four young men had been in Green Bay for a Sunday visit and were returning in the Crawford car which had loose steering wheel. After reaching Algoma, Crawford let one of the other men take the wheel and being unfamiliar with the car, as they were going around a sharp curve near Forestville, the car struck a culvert and turned over. The other three men were thrown clear of car, but Wolf who was asleep, was buried under the car. His skull was fractured and other injuries sustained.
Assistance was called for and the injured man was being taken to a hospital, but he died before reaching there.
