MRS. EMMA MAE REYNOLDS
Mrs. Emma Mae Reynolds, 69, wife of Clarence M., Watsontown RD 1, was pronounced dead on arrival at 8:30 am, Monday, Nov. 16, 1981, in the emergency room of the Evangelical hospital. Mrs. Reynolds became ill in her home and was removed to the hospital by the West Branch Volunteer Fire Co. ambulance. She had been in ill health for three years.
Born at Strawberry Ridge, Montour County on March 14, 1912, she was a daughter of the late William and Dolly DeWalt Weeks. She and her husband observed their 53rd wedding anniversary in April. They lived in Delaware Township for 44 years where she and her husband farmed for over 20 years. She was a former member of the Delaware Run Wesleyan Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are five sons: Lester L., Robert E., Irvin J., Emmett W., and Earl, all of Watsontown RD 1; two step-sons, Clarence Reynolds, Jr., Sunbury, and Raymond I., Danville, and two daughters, Mrs. Sarah L. Hoey, Watsontown and Mrs. Margaret L. Buck, Watsontown RD 1. There are 15 grandchildren and give great-grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. Dorothy Lau, Philadelphia, survives. A sister and a daughter preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm, Thursday, from the Herbert E. Barr Funeral Service, Watsontown. Officiating will be the Rev. H. John Blann, pastor of the Delaware Run Wesleyan Church. Internment will be in St. John's Lutheran cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 o'clock, tomorrow.
