Mrs. Elmer (Nora) Nelson, 82, of Omaha died at 12:00 o'clock noon, March 31, 1959, in the St. Joseph hospital in Omaha where she had been for three weeks. She had been in failing health for the past six months, and had been bedfast for two months. Her death was due to old age and complications.

Her marriage to Elmer Nelson of Tecumseh took place in Garden City, Kans., January 19, 1896. Four children were born to them. Mr. Nelson was sheriff of Johnson county from 1920-28. The Nelson family moved from Tecumseh to Omaha in 1934. Mr. Nelson died September 19, 1952.
She was a life-long Catholic. At the time of her death she was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Omaha.
Surviving Mrs. Nelson are two daughters, Miss Margaret Nelson and Miss Bernice Nelson of Omaha; two sons, Hubert Nelson and Elmer Nelson of Omaha; and one brother, Morgan Keleher of Oklahoma City, Okla.
The funeral is being held at 10:00 o'clock this Thursday morning. April 2, in St. John Catholic church in Omaha.
