Nannie died on November 28, 1905 at age 38, four months after her daughter Cleopatra and three months after her son Rufus. To add to Mr. Wilson's woes, his dry goods store is destroyed by fire a month later on Christmas night.
She was the daughter of Cornelius Carney and Rosanna Watson and niece of Albert Carney. She was original Dawes enrollee #1338 and one-half Choctaw blood.
In 1882 she married W.W. Wilson at age 15 at Doaksville in the Choctaw Nation. They settled in the Clear Creek settlement where her husband was a merchant and stock-raiser.
They moved from their home on Clear Creek to old Doaksville on a farm, where they lived until the death of Nannie in 1905.
She was the mother of four sons and one daughter. All but one (Oscar) of her children predeceased her.
