Irene E. O'Connor, 76, of 1969 Mount Perry Road, Mount Perry, died at 5:35 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, 1992, at Good Samaritan Cancer Center for Southeast Ohio - Hospice.
Mts. O'Connor was a member of Newton American Legion Auxiliary, the Elizabeth Rebekkah Lodge and East Fultonham United Methodist Church.
Born March 21, 1916 in Cambridge, Iowa, she was a daughter of Hozie L. and Hattie Pickens Durst.
Surviving are her husband, Ed O'Connor of the home; one son, Larry Snider of Brownsville; two daughters, Mrs. Linda Snider-Camp of Zanesville and Loretta Russell of Gratiot; one sister, Dorothy Hammer of Somerset; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at William Thompson and Son Funeral Home in White Cottage, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, with the Rev. Mark Burden officiating. Burial will be in Fultonham Cemetery.
