HARDESTY, Okla. - Wanda Flaherty, 82, died Sunday, Oct. 10, 2010, in Amarillo, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Hartville Cemetery with the Rev. Truman Summerford officiating. Arrangements are by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.

Mrs. Flaherty was born Sept. 25, 1928, in Holly Creek to Josie Annie Overstreet and Julius Jack Billingsley. She was united in marriage to Roy Flaherty on Feb. 24, 1967.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Barbara Mathis of Hardesty and Elizabeth Watts of Tulsa; three sons, Charles Owens of Hardesty, Frank Hastings of Houston and Vance Hastings of Lindsay; a sister, Altha Mae Patterson of Pomona, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Imogene Rankin and Marian Branch; four brothers, Wilbert Billingsley, Gilbert Billingsley, Timothy Billingsley and Julius James Billingsley; and a son, Joe Harkey.

The family suggests memorials be to Hardesty Senior Citizens Center; or Hartville Cemetery, in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 1306, Guymon, OK 73942.
