Fritz Kraft, resident of Davenport for 25 years, died at the home of his son, Herman Kraft, at 1:15 this morning at the home on Hickory Grove and Cradle roads.
He was born in Germany, March 1, 1841, and came to Davenport in 1885. His marriage to Miss Margaretha Stelk, who died three years ago; took place in Germany.
Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Gustave Sindt, and Mrs. Ed Sindt of Davenport, William Kraft of Austin, Minn., Henry Kraft of R.R. 5, and Herman Kraft.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:30 from the home to Maysville cemetery.

Funeral services for the late Fritz Kraft were held Thursday afternoon from the home, for miles out on the Hickory Grove road, at 1:30 o'clock. Johannes Kroeger officiated at the home and at the grave in Maysville cemetery. Six grandsons acted as pallbearers. They were Herbert, Raymond, Arnold, Walter, Rolly and Roman Kraft.
