Clarence E. Allison, Retired Barber, Dies

Clarence E. Allison, retired barber of East Sixth st. was found dead Friday at 2:30 p.m. in a vacant lot near Claiborne ave. The time of his death has been placed about 3:30 a.m. Columbiana County Coroner Arnold Devon ruled a heart attack was the cause of death. He was born in Williamsport and lived in East Liverpool for the last 50 years. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Olga Stephenson of Steubenville, and three brothers, A. G Allison, Steubenville, H. O. Allison, Portsmouth, and E. W. Allison, East Liverpool. Services will be held from the Martin funeral home at 10 a.m. Monday by Rev. D. Park Chapman, pastor of the First Christian church. Burial will be at the Calcutta United Presbyterian cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday night.
