Err Walter Allison
Err Walter Allison, 82, of 307 Virginia Ave., a retired employe of the former Edwin M. Knowles China Co., died this morning at 7 at the East Liverpool Extended Care Center. He had been ill since Dec. 5, 1969. A native of East Liverpool, Mr. Allison was born June 7, 1887, a son of the late Albert and Hanna Allison. He worked as a liner at the former pottery. He was a member of the Grace United Presbyterian Church and the IBOP, Local 124. His wife, Mrs. Catherine Allmon Allison, died in 1960. He is survived by two sons, Robert G. Allison at home and Wilbert Allison of East Liverpool; four daughters, Mrs. Martha Stone of Columbus, Mrs. Jane Lee Judge of Wellsville, Mrs. Emmanuel (Thelma) Nester of New Wilmington, Pa., and Mrs. Howard (Helen) Boals of Athens, Tex., 12 grandchildren and 13 great - grandchildren. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Martin Funeral Home by the Rev. Harold Sherman of the church. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday night, Sunday afternoon and night.
