Services were held at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home on Garland Road in Dallas at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 10, 1978. Graveside masonic services were held at Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Butler was a member of the Tabernacle Masonic Lodge in Fort Worth.
Born in Windom on September 16, 1925 he was the son of W. M. Butler Sr. and the former Ila Faye Roden.
He was a district dealer for the Dallas Times Herald.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; one son, Danny Howard Butler of Mesquite; one daughter, Miss Debbie Butler of Dallas; two grandchildren; one brother, W. M. Butler Jr. of Morton and one sister, Mrs. Mildred Barker of Sherman.
