Carl P. Anderson
Carl P. Anderson, 87, a resident of the Broen Memorial Home, died Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14, at the Glende Johnson Funeral Home in Fergus Falls, with the Rev. Tom Palomaki officiating. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born Nov. 13, 1898, the youngest of 10 children of Bernt and Karen Anderson. He moved to Fergus Falls in 1913 and married Alberta Thorn in 1921. She died Dec. 22,1948.
He was employed by the Fergus Falls State Hospital and later by Otter Tail Power Co. He retired and worked on the Vern Danielson farm for a number of years. He was a resident of the home since May 19,1976.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. William (Lillian Odland) Deering of Fergus Falls and a son, LeRoy Anderson of Maple Grove; 10 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
