Fred C. Lineberry
Fred Curtis Lineberry, 62, who resided in the Hebron section of Carroll County died unexpectedly at his home Thursday, May 30.
Mr. Lineberry was a son of the late Henderson Lineberry and wife, Mrs. Mary Jane Porter Lineberry.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary Emma Dixon Lineberry, Woodlawn; three
daughters, Mrs. Elwood Lineberry, Asheboro, N. C., and Miss Kathlene Lineberry and Miss Inez Lineberry, both of the home; seven sons, Andrew Lineberry, Charlotte Court House; Howard Lineberry, F. C. Lineberry and Charles Lineberry, all of Galax; Wayne Lineberry and Caldwell Lineberry, both of Roanoke, and Don Lineberry, Richmond; four sisters; two brothers, and eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Hebron Christian Church Sunday 2:30 p. m., by the Rev. Isom Melton, pastor of the church, the Rev. Lonnie P. Shaw, pastor of the Camp Zion Circuit.
Interment was in the Hebron cemetery.
The body was taken from Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Galax to the residence Friday, and was placed in the church at 1:30 p. m. Sunday.
