W. Forest Lineberry
Walter Forest Lineberry, 39, well known local lumber dealer, died at 2:30 o'clock
yesterday(Sunday) morning, in Waddell hospital here, after an illness of about two weeks. He was a son of the late George Henderson and Mary Porter Lineberry.
Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Arthur Lineberry, Mrs. Elmer Lineberry, Mrs. Harlie Robinson and Fred Lineberry, Cullen, Va.; Mrs. Roby Lineberry, Galax; Mrs. Guy Dixon and Clarence Lineberry, Cullen, Va. Mrs. Roby Delp, Woodlawn, and Joe Lineberry, Boston, Mass.
Funeral services were held this (Monday) morning, at 11 o'clock, in the Hebron
Christian church, by Rev. William P. Taylor, pastor of the First Christian church, Galax, and Rev. Lonnie P. Shaw and Rev. Otte Utt, Galax.
Wythe F. Wampler, Galax, read the poem, "The House by the Side of the Road."
Interment was in the Hebron cemetery.
