WOOD FUNERAL HOME - Barry Edwin Hanna, age 47 of Longview died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, December 29, at 6:00 p.m. at the Bogata Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Daniels officiating.Wood Funeral Home has charge of the funeral arrangements.

He was born November 18, 1961, in Paris, TX to Floyd and Frances Burns Hanna. He was a 1979 graduate of Rivercrest High School and had been employed in the construction and coal mining industries. He was of the Baptist faith and a Master Mason, being a member of the Rosalie Lodge #527 A.F. and A.M. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Hanna.

He is survived by his two sons, Joey and Jesse Ray Hanna; three sisters, Terri Bell and husband Mike, Sherri Cheatwood and husband Ricky and Eyvette Alford and husband Chris; one uncle Nell Hanna; one sister-in-law, Lou Hanna; five nephews, James Bell and wife Jamie, Scott Bell and wife Allison, Clinton Cheatwood and Kayla, Cody Cheatwood and fiance' Lynnann Sivard, Collin Alford; two nieces, Chelsea and and Caili Alford; one great-niece, Emma Cheatwood, and another great-niece due in April; Also surviving are special family members, Kenneth Palmer, and wife mary Lynn and the Steve and Dina Middleton family, Barbara Kelly and Dr. Bobby Smith.
