September 25, 2008, Wood Funeral Home - Mr. Larry Floyd Hanna, age 53 of Tyler and formerly of Bogata died suddenly Monday at his residence. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday September 19 at Bogata Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Donnie Sherrill and Rev. Billy Daniels officiating. Burial will be in McCrury Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.

Mr. Hanna was born January 14, 1955 in Rosenburg, Texas the son of Floyd and Francis Burns Hanna. He married the former Louellen Ballard January 3, 1975 in Paris. He was a graduate of Rivercrest High school a graduate of Paris Junior College and LeTourneau University of Longview and was an independent insurance agent, was an avid slow pitch softball player and coach and went to nationals with the TP&L Shockers Softball team.

He is survived by his wife Louellen Hanna; three sisters, Terri Bell and husband Mike, Sherri Cheatwood and husband Ricky and Eyvette Alford and husband Chris; one brother, Barry Hanna; 18 nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews and two great-great nephews also survive.
