Jerome Mitchell, a laborer and resident of Port Allen, died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at Capital Nursing Home. He was 53 and a native of New Orleans.
Arrangements entrusted to Hall's of Port Allen. Interment in Lady of Knight Cemetery.
He is survived by a son, Reginald Jerome Dunn; sisters, Patricia Morton, Laverne Hughes and Michelle Buggage; brothers, Darryl James, Willie Mitchell Jr., Ventress Mitchell and Kenneth James; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Mitchell Sr.; Rebecca Mitchell; and a sister, Linda Faye Jones.
