Ernest S. Potter, 75, of First Street, Templeton died Saturday, Oct. 3, 1998 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township. He was born Oct. 11, 1922 in Manorville to Ernest E. and Frances (Spangler) Potter. Mr. Potter was employed at the former Pittsburgh Plate Glass Industries, Ford City, where he was in maintenance, having 35 years of service. He attended the Templeton Church of God. He enjoyed working on automobiles and all types of mechanical work. He is survived by his wife, Judy (Pence) Potter, whom he married on Sept. 7, 1965; one son Jack L. Potter of Arnold; one granddaughter Danielle Potter of Arnold and Mrs. Harvey (Valerie) Pence Jack of Kittanning RD1, whom he and his wife raised and her sons Jared and Evan Jack. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Leonard Potter. POTTER Friends of Ernest S. Potter, 75 of First Street, Templeton, who died Oct. 3, 1998, will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Charles Carl, officiating. Interment will take place in Cochran Cemetery, Boggs Township. Arrangements by Bauer's.
