For thirty years he suffered from poor health and the last 28 days he was unable to move. The remains were brought home and laid beside of the remains of the wife of his youth in Otsego cemetery after a short service in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Alfonso Slocum. Rev. J. C. Cook conducted the service. Mrs. C. Blair of Marion was in attendance. While the friends sorrow over the parting, they rejoice in hope of a better day.
