Zona Turner, 93 years of age, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother, moved to heaven on October 3, 2010. Zona was born October 13, 1916 in Llano County to the union of Andrew and Flora Sartor. Zona was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jack Turner; son, James Paul Turner and grandson, Barry Ray Pilcher. She is survived by three daughters; Wanda Huggins, Della Cowart, and Paula Henderson and her husband, Ron. Zona is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 14 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by a brother, Andis Sartor and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Zona loved to play dominoes and served as a Teacher in the daycare industry. Since 1952, Zona was a proud member of Second Baptist Church, a church home she dearly loved. Visitation for Zona will be Friday evening, October 8, from 5-8 PM at Rosewood Funeral Home, 3939 Pasadena Blvd. A Celebration of Zona's life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 11 AM at South Main Baptist Church.
