"Mrs. Louisa Jiminez, wife of Joseph Jimenz(sic), died at her home at 120 East Jackson street last night at 9:40 o'clock, after an illness of several days. The deceased leaves, surviving, her husband and the following children: Mrs. Frances Webb, of Aberdeen, who came to Biloxi to attend the funeral and burial which will take place tomorrow afternoon in the Biloxi cemetery; and Miguel, Mary, Irma, Geo., Thelma and Jos. Jiminez. Mrs. Jimenez(sic) was a devout member of the Episcopal church. The community sympathizes with the bereaved husband and children."

"The funeral of Mrs. Louisa Jiminez, who died at her home, 120 Jackson street, Saturday night, was held yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock. Services were conducted by Rev. Byron Holley and interment was made in the Biloxi cemetery. Besides her children deceased leaves an only sister, Mrs. Henry Thompson."
Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Records, Book 8, pg 243: Louisa was 42 years and 5 months old when she died at her home, 120 E. Jackson St., from "acute Bright's disease, heart lesions and malaria". She was the daughter of John Lahr and Mary Lipps.
