"Mrs. Mary Bagatela, aged 72 years, a native of Germany and a resident of Biloxi for forty years, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Jiminez, 120 East Jackson street, last evening at 7:55 o'clock. Mrs. Bagatela was widely known to Biloxi residents and had many friends in the city. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Jiminez and Mrs. Henry Thompson, with twenty-one grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2:30 o'clock from the late residence of the deceased. Services will be conducted by Rev. Chas. B. Crawford. Interment will be in the Biloxi cemetery."
